Federico Foschi - UK


Federico graduated with honours from the University of Bologna. Subsequently he accomplished a PhD in Endodontic Microbiology at the Forsyth Institute. He completed two postdoctoral programs with focus on photodynamic therapy and tissue engineering. He moved to the UK, after being appointed Lecturer in Endodontology. There he completed the five-year training in Restorative Dentistry at Guy’s Hospital leading to the membership of the Royal College of Surgeons of England. As registered Endodontic Specialist maintains a part-time referral-based practice. He is currently Consultant/Senior Lecturer and program director of the MSc in Endodontics of the Faculty of Dentistry, Oral & Craniofacial Sciences at King’s College London, where he teaches both undergraduate and postgraduate students. He received the IADR Pulp Biology award and published over fifty peer-reviewed papers, one book and two book chapters.
